Bhubaneswar: After Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik returns from the Pratistha Utsav of the newly-built main temple complex of Tara Tarini in Ganjam, the Odisha Cabinet will convene at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to sources, the cabinet will be presented with around 20 suggestions pertaining to 11 departments: Industry, Schools and Mass Education, Water Resources, Skills Development, Agriculture, Finance, Public Administration, Higher Education, Panchayati Raj, and Revenue.

Tenders for five mega drinking water projects, as well as land allocation for the Angul Mega Aluminum Park, are expected to be granted.

According to reports, the cabinet will also debate a request to buy 871 acres from Tata Power Company for Idco's land bank and the Odisha Services Employment (Amendment) Rules.

With Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik finishing the third year of his fifth term on May 29, it is expected that the Cabinet will make some significant decisions during this meeting.
