Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has responded to Atishi's accusation of breaking promises.
Former Delhi Chief Minister accused the new BJP government, led by Rekha Gupta, of breaking election promises.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday responded to former Chief Minister Atishi, who accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of breaking its election promises.
“The Congress ruled for 15 years and the AAP ruled for 13. Instead of evaluating their own performance, how can they question our one day in office? We held a cabinet meeting on our first day, immediately after taking the oath, and we approved the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which the AAP had blocked. We provided a benefit of ₹10 lakhs to the people of Delhi on that first day,” Gupta stated, as reported by ANI.
“They have no right to question us. We will focus on Delhi now, ensuring that the city receives its rights under the leadership of PM Modi. They should manage their own party, as many members are seeking to leave. They are concerned about the upcoming CAG report, which may expose records related to numerous individuals,” Gupta added.
In a video statement, Atishi remarked, "The BJP promised the women of Delhi that they would pass a scheme providing ₹2,500 to them in the first cabinet meeting. After the new Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, and her cabinet ministers took their oaths, the first cabinet meeting occurred at 7 PM. All the women of Delhi were expecting this scheme to be approved. On the first day, the BJP began breaking their promises. They have made up their minds to deceive the people of Delhi.”
Rekha Gupta, who won the Delhi Assembly election from Shalimar Bagh, was sworn in as the fourth woman Chief Minister of Delhi on Thursday. Gupta will oversee several portfolios, including General Administration, Services, Finance, Revenue, Women and Child Development, Land and Building, Information and Public Relations, Vigilance, Administrative Reforms, Planning, and other departments not allocated to other ministries.
