Bhubaneswar: Two more Odisha-cadre IAS officers are set to renew their wedding vows, giving love another chance.
According to sources, Samarth Verma, the current Puri Collector, and his fellow officer and Rayagada Collector Swadha Dev Singh will marry on May 15 in Varanasi.
Samarth is a mechanical engineer from IIT Kanpur and an IAS officer from the 2010 batch. He previously married Shuchi Singh, an allied officer with the Indian Railways.
Swadha is the ex-wife of Chanchal Rana, a 2014-batch officer who is now the Collector of Balangir. She is from the 2013 batch of officers.
Notably, on May 2, Chanchal Rana married Ananya Das, a fellow officer and Sambalpur Collector, in a hotel in Guwahati, Assam. Ananya was previously married to IAS officer Abdaal M. Akhtar, who is now the Collector of Koraput.
