Bihar: A student was shot dead and two others were injured in a clash over cheating during an exam in Sasaram.
A conflict erupted between two groups of matriculation students regarding cheating in the exam hall in Sasaram, Rohtas district.

A tenth-grade student was shot dead, and two others were injured during a clash between two groups of students over cheating in an exam hall in Sasaram, Rohtas district, Bihar.
According to a police official, "A gunfight between students took place. One student sustained a bullet injury to the leg, and another was shot in the back. Unfortunately, one of the students succumbed to their injuries during treatment." Villagers, along with the family members of the deceased student, attempted to block the highway, but the police assured them that action would be taken in the case. They were ultimately convinced and proceeded with the body for final rites.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is conducting class 10 Matric final examinations from February 17 to February 25. The first shift runs from 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, while the second shift is from 2 PM to 5:15 PM. Entry into the examination center will be allowed only until 9 AM; no one will be permitted to enter after that. For the second shift, entry will be allowed between 1 PM and 1:30 PM.
Recently, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) began its board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 on February 15. Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations at CBSE, stated, "The CBSE board exams for Classes 10 and 12 have started. Today, the Class 10 English and Class 12 Entrepreneurship exams were held. The Class 10 exam took place at 7,780 centers, with over 23.86 lakh students participating, while the Class 12 exam was conducted at 995 centers with around 23,000 students. The exams were organized smoothly, and I hope all students reached their exam centers with enthusiasm and were able to take them in a positive environment."
