Odisha engineer is subjected to vigilance raids; searches continue in 11 locations
Bhubaneswar: On Thursday, vigilance sleuths raided the houses of an assistant engineer at 11 locations around the state.
Santosh Kumar Das, Assistant Engineer, Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Baripada, was arrested on suspicion of acquiring disproportionate assets.
A Vigilance team consisting of 10 DSPs, 4 inspectors, and 30 other personnel searched 11 places in Bhubaneswar, Balasore, and Mayurbhanj at the same time.
The raids were carried out at the following sites, according to Vigilance sources:
- On site no. 2404/EB-502, Bhubaneswar, there is a four-story skyscraper.
- Bijay Enclave, Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Flat No. 105
- Building under construction on site no. LIG-1117 K-4 in Kalinga Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
- Bagbrundaban, Balasore, four-story structure on site No. 169
- House in Baliapal, Balasore's Badhapal hamlet
- House of in-laws in Pitina, Sadar, Balasore
- Son-in-rented law's house near LIC Colony in Balasore
- Son-in-hometown law's is Dudpal, Baliapal, and Balasore, Bhanjpur, Baripada, rented house
- At the ITDA office in Baripada, there is an office chamber.
- Son's residence in Mayurbhanj, Baisinga, was rented.
