Odisha CM Likely To Travel To Delhi Once More, Second Trip In A Week

Bhubaneswar: Reliable sources told us on Friday that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would be travelling to Delhi for a second time starting on August 5 for a four-day visit.
On August 7, the CM is scheduled to attend the seventh NITI Ayog Governing Council Meeting as well as the National Committee on "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav," which will be graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Chief Ministers and Governors of various states. The following day, the CM is scheduled to return to the state.
He'll be visiting Delhi once again in the next two weeks. On July 26, he left Bhubaneswar after witnessing Droupadi Murmu's inauguration as India's 15th president. During his four-day journey to the national capital, he also met with a few Union Ministers to discuss ongoing crucial state concerns.
Naveen presented NITI Aayog with a four-point charter of demands on Thursday, including the expansion of railway infrastructure, banking facilities in rural areas, and telecommunication services in remote areas. Naveen met with vice-chairperson Suman Bery and member Dr. Vinod K Paul at this location. He emphasised the significance of achieving these for the development of the state.
He used the fact that Odisha experiences cyclones and floods practically annually to support his quest for special status.
