Berhampur: On Friday, one person was killed and three others were critically injured in a group clash in Sahadeb Tikarpada village, Digapahandi block, Ganjam, Odisha.
Tophan Gouda has been identified as the deceased. The injured - Kalu Gouda, Jotchana Gouda, and Pratima Gouda - were initially admitted to Digapahandi Community Health Centre but were later transferred to MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Berhampur, due to their deteriorating condition.
According to sources, the conflict stemmed from a previous feud between two families. Police have been deployed in the village to prevent any untoward incidents, and an investigation into the cause of the clash is underway.
