Brothers Duo Held For Peddling Brown Sugar In City
On Friday, Commissionerate Police arrested two brothers living in Bhubaneswar's Salia Sahi slum for allegedly peddling brown sugar.

Bhubaneswar: On Friday, Commissionerate Police arrested two brothers living in Bhubaneswar's Salia Sahi slum for allegedly peddling brown sugar.
According to sources, a team from the city's Maitri Vihar police station conducted a raid near Ekamraswar Prakalpa Vidyalaya after receiving credible information about the brothers' drug dealing. The duo was apprehended on the spot by the police team.
The police recovered six grams of brown sugar from the due's possession and arrested them. Chiku Swain (32) and Chintu Swain (30) of Kalaka village in Cuttack district's Niali police station were charged. They were, however, staying in Salia Sahi for a while.
During questioning, the two brothers admitted to the police that they had been selling brown sugar in the neighborhood. The case has been referred to the court.
