Revenue Inspector Held For Taking Bribe

Sambalpur: Revenue Inspector Manoj Mahananda was arrested by Odisha Vigilance on Monday for allegedly requesting and receiving bribes.
For compiling a field verification report about the partition of ancestral property, Mahananda of Jamankira block in Sambalpur district allegedly requested Rs 9,000 from a complaint.
Mahananda has been reimbursed for the entire bribe money. At the Sambalpur Vigilance police station, a case has been filed. Details are still being worked out.
