Odia Families In Saudi Arabia Celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi

Bhubaneswar: Odia families living in Jubail City, Saudi Arabia, observed Ganesh Chaturthi by adhering to all religious customs.
On Wednesday, the Ganesh puja was celebrated by about 38 Odia families. Conch shells were blown, prayers were recited by priests, and flowers were donated to Lord Ganesh.
Some families wrote with chalk on black slate boards in front of the idol as part of the Odia ceremony, which signifies the start of a child's education.
All the family ate exquisite Odia food prepared for the occasion after the puja rites.
Odias living abroad participate in all regional celebrations, including Raja, Kumar Purnima, and Rath Yatra.
