Bhubaneswar: Around four dozen locations in Odisha had significant to extremely heavy rainfall over the course of the past two days as a result of a low pressure system over the Bay of Bengal, according to the Meteorological Center in this city on Monday.

According to a tweet from the regional office of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Barmul in the Nayagarh district had very heavy rainfall, with 229.4 mm being the largest volume ever recorded in the state during the time.
