KIIT & KISS partner with UNESCO MGIEP for online course on social and emotional learning
Bhubaneswar: The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and the Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS) and the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Peace and Sustainable Development have inked a collaboration agreement (MGIEP).
According to the agreement, KIIT-KISS personnel and students will gradually distribute the online Self-Directed Emotional Learning for Empathy and Care (SEEK) course.
KIIT is one of the first varsities in the world to execute an MGIEPSEK programme supported by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
UNESCO MGIEP director, Dr Anantha Duraiappah and KIIT & KISS Founder, KISS Chancellor Achyuta Samanta The signing event was attended by Satya Tripathi, a university recognised as a university and officials of numerous embassies in Delhi and UN Offices.
"Compassion, kindness and humanitarianism are built on KIIT & KISS. We are happy to be partnering with UNESCO MGIEP to prepare our students and employees with emotional intelligence abilities, particularly as mankind has passed test times," stated Dr. Samanta.
