Three people were killed in a collision between a car and a truck on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
The third person in the car was rescued in critical condition and rushed to the local hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment.

In a tragic road accident, three people lost their lives after their car collided with a truck on National Highway 57 near Pitapalli Chhak, under the jurisdiction of the Info Valley police station, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The force of the impact was so severe that two of the car's occupants died at the scene.
The third occupant was rescued in critical condition and rushed to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he also succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment. Upon receiving the news, police quickly arrived at the site to clear the road.
The collision occurred late Friday night when the car, carrying residents from the Chandrapur area of Puri, crashed into the truck from behind. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Identities of the Deceased:
The victims have been identified as Bishwa Chetan Mishra, Bishwaranjan Sethi, and Prashant Pradhan, all of whom were from the Chandanpur locality in Puri district. They were traveling from Bhubaneswar to Khordha at the time of the accident.
Local Police Action:
Local police promptly notified the families of the deceased, who subsequently arrived at the accident site. As of the latest reports, authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident, including any potential driver error or mechanical failure.
