Bhubaneswar: Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan distributed appointment letters to 231 Odisha youths on Thursday as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Rozgar Mela.
Dharmendra told the new appointees at an event in Bhubaneswar that the Narendra Modi government at the Centre is committed to giving the right opportunities to the talent and energy of youth in order to fulfill the vision of a developed India.
According to the Union Minister, the Centre has allocated Rs 10 lakh crore in this year's annual budget to create job opportunities across the country.
Odisha is now able to receive over Rs 50,000 crore in mining revenue as a result of the Centre's dynamic policies, which directly benefits the state's youth and women, according to Dharmendra.
Congratulating the new recruits, the Minister stated that this is an opportunity for them to contribute to the country's development.
He urged the new recruits to use modern technology to improve their skills in the coming days and to help the society's needy people.
Bhubneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi, East Coast Railway (ECoR) General Manager Manoj Sharma, AIIMS-Bhubaneswar Executive Director Dr Ashutash Biswas, and senior officials from GSI, Rourkela Steel Plant, BSNL, and IIT-Bhubaneswar were among those in attendance.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued appointment letters to approximately 71,000 newly recruited central government employees via video conference today.
On the occasion of Bhubaneswar's 75th Foundation Day, the Union Minister also extended his greetings to the people.
