Bargarh: On Monday, three days after the horrifying Balasore rail disaster, a goods train reportedly derailed in Odisha's Bargarh district.

According to sources, no one was injured when five wagons of a goods train derailed near Mendhapali in the Bargarh district.

When the goods train derailed, it was carrying limestone from the Dunguri area. There has been no loss of life.

This is entirely a private cement company's narrow gauge siding. The company is responsible for all infrastructure, including rolling stock such as engines, wagons, and train track (narrow gauge).

Railways have no role in this matter, according to East Coast Railway (ECoR) officials. They also stated that it is not linked to the Indian Railway system.

The private narrow gauge rail line connects the Dunguri limestone mines and the ACC Bargarh cement plant.
