One Killed, 4 Critical In Road Accident near Bhuinpur Chhak
One person was killed and four others were critically injured when their car rammed a truck near Bhuinpur Chhak in Aul on the Cuttack-Chandbali road in Odisha early on Sunday.

Pradipta Das, sarpanch of Jayanagar gram panchayat in Rajkanika, Kendrapada district, has been identified as the deceased.
According to sources, the accident happened around 5 a.m. as they were driving back from Swargadwar in Puri after performing last rites for Jayanti Behera, the wife of Nirakar Behera of Rajkanika in Kendrapada district. The accident completely smashed the car, and the occupants were severely injured. They were rescued by locals, who then notified police and fire personnel. The injured were initially treated at the Aul community health center.
According to the sources, Das died as a result of his injuries while being transferred to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, where the other four are being treated.
