Woman kills father-in-law over family feud in Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: In a horrifying occurrence, a woman allegedly killed her father-in-law in Kuturia hamlet within the boundaries of Parjang police station in this area over a family quarrel.
Benudhar Pradhan was named as the deceased.
Information indicates that on Saturday at 11 am, Benudhar and his daughter-in-law Yosoda got into a verbal altercation. Later, when the woman used a sharp object to attack the old guy, the argument turned ugly.
The family members quickly transported them to Parjang Community Health Center (CHC), and as their health deteriorated, they were sent to Dhenkanal Distrct Headquarters Hospital (DHH). But the DHH's medical staff pronounced Benudhar dead.
After being notified, the neighbourhood police went to the hospital and took the body for an autopsy. The police opened a probe into the situation as well.
