Bhawanipatna: When their car crashed with a passenger bus in Odisha's Kalahandi district, at least two people perished and three others were critically injured, including an infant.
According to accounts, the accident happened late Monday night near Chancher on National Highway-26 in the district.
Two people died on the spot, but two women and a newborn were critically injured, according to a police officer.
The injured were sent to the Bhawanipatna government hospital, where their condition was described as critical.
Dilip Gochayat and Dinesh Nayak of Bhawanipatna have been identified as the victims.
