Bhubaneswar: While light to moderate rain is expected in Odisha until August 2, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for a number of districts through the morning of July 31.
In the coming 24 hours, the MeT office has predicted rain in a few locations in interior Odisha and one or two locations in coastal districts. In Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Balangir, Boudh, Sonepur, and Nayagarh around this time, thunderstorm warnings have been issued for one or two locations.
