Kalinga Sena To file a Lawsuit Against Drug Use In Ollywood

Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Sena has made the decision to bring the subject up with law enforcement officials in light of the Babushaan-Prakruti-Trupti controversy that exposed drug use by celebrities in the Odia film industry.

The Odia film community and the people of Odisha have been outraged by the allegations made by Ollywood actor Babushaan's wife Trupti that her husband's friend and actress was supplying him with narcotics. Hemant Rath, the president of Kalinga Sena in Odisha, told a local TV station that his nonpartisan organisation aims to rid Hollywood of drug use.

Citing the case of Sushant Singh Rajput, he claimed that, like Bollywood, Ollywood has been overrun by the drug epidemic. "Sushant killed himself after abusing drugs. Rhea Chakraborty, an actress and his acquaintance, has acknowledged buying drugs in Odisha. We don't want Hollywood to experience the same thing, added Rath.

He compared the situation to that of Sushant and Babushaan and stated, "There is a special gang in Hollywood that not only uses drugs but also sells them to stars. Trupti claims that Prakruti was giving Babushaan direct access to marijuana. According to our understanding, she oversees the business in Hollywood and supplies the group with ganja and heroin.

Rath claimed that if police questioned the gang, the specifics of the racket may be exposed. He also argued that Babushaan and actress Prakruti's role in the scam should be looked into.

According to him, the Kalinga Sena will lodge a complaint over this on Thursday at the Kharvel Nagar police station in Bhubaneswar. He continued, "We expect the police to take exemplary action against those in charge of the scam and rid Ollywood of the drug plague.
