Tehsildar arrested for cheating girlfriend in Sonepur

Rourkela: An Additional Tehsildar from the Sonepur district of Odisha has been detained for allegedly sexually exploiting a woman under the false promise of marriage.
Rupak Kujur, the additional tehsildar, was apprehended by Rajgangpur police on Saturday after a lady filed a complaint alleging that she had been in a relationship with him since 2008. When she was at CLass X, Kujur proposed to her and also formed physical connections with her by promising marriage.
Kujur gradually grew apart from her after starting a job. After finding that Kujur had married another woman in court, she filed a complaint at the Lanjiberna station.
Sashank Sekhar Beura, Rajgangpur SDPO, said, "The complainant has accused him of having a physical contact with her for the last several years by promising to marry her."
