"As many as 27 lakh doses of vaccination have reached in the state to provide immunity against Lumpy Skin Disease. "A total of 10,57,300 cattle have been vaccinated in the state thus far, and the vaccination campaign is still ongoing," it stated.
So far, Lumpy Skin Disease symptoms have developed in 18,842 cattle in the state, with 9,621 recovering after treatment.
The Fisheries and Animal Resources Development Department carries out the treatment of other infected cattle through veterinary hospitals, clinics, livestock relief centers, and mobile veterinary units.
Following veterinary treatment, the injured livestock are being recovered. Because cattle do not normally die from this ailment, livestock farmers are encouraged not to worry or listen to rumors about it, according to the report.
