Job fraud racket: Lookout notice issued against 2 masterminds

Bhubaneswar: A Lookout Circular has been published regarding a company's directors who are allegedly involved in a job scam.
The Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Bhubaneswar, has issued the Lookout Circular against Bhiku Bisoi and Manikandan, directors of Kinney Infotech Pvt Ltd.
By offering them jobs or work from home, Bisoi and Manikandan allegedly gathered money from a lot of job seekers and conned roughly a hundred individuals out of Rs 1 crore.
The investigation found that in 2021 Bisoi, an Odisha native from the Ganjam district, and Manikandan, an Indian from Chennai, created an office in Bhanjanagar and hired some salespeople to get people to invest in their business by promising them work from home opportunities.
Then they allegedly closed the office after collecting Rs 1 crore.
The defendants are allegedly hiding in Malaysia.
