Foundation laid and Inauguration done for Industrial projects over INR 2359.29 Crore in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: In a bid to boost the industrial activities in the state, Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated 2 industrial projects and performed Groundbreaking for 11 projects. These projects include a logistic park, 3-ethanol plants, a steel expansion project, a cement manufacturing unit and a 5-star resort among others.
These diversified and employment-intensive projects will create potential employments for over 3,200 persons in the state. Some of the leading companies promoting these projects include Tata Steels, Swosti Premium, Greentech Bioenergy and Coastal Biotech.
Inauguration of industrial units with investments over INR 409.03 crore and Ground-breaking of industrial units with a cumulative investment of INR 1,950.26 crore took place in the 14th phase of the Inauguration ceremony, which aims to generate employment opportunities for over 3,200 persons in the state.
With such massive investments across the state, Odisha looks to strengthen its position, achieve its goals and remain in the position of a leading state in the coming years, with new innovation, infrastructure, dedication, best technology backed by Ease of Doing Business for the investors.
Minister Industries & MSME, Home and Energy Shri Dibya Sankar Mishra also spoke on the occasion.
