Babushaan statement on attack on him and Prakruti Mishra

Bhubaneswar: In response to his wife Trupti Satpathy's heinous attack on him and actress Prakruti Mishra on the streets of Bhubaneswar on Saturday, Bollywood superstar Babushaan has released a video statement.

"I guess my viral videos are entertaining you all. But I do want to let you know that I came to Chennai to take part in the Utkal Divas celebrations. Additionally invited was Prakutri Mishra. I travelled to Chennai to announce a new movie with her and to promote my own with her, according to Babushaan. It appeared that Chennai is where the video was filmed.

The actor claimed he was unaware of any issues within his family. "I won't work on the movie with Prakruti if my family is having problems. If necessary, I won't work with any heroine or do any further movies with her," he declared.

Prakruti responded to the event in a post on her Instagram account on Saturday.

All stories have two sides. She wrote in Odia, "Unfortunately, our culture places blame on women before listening to anything.

"My co-star Babushaan and I were travelling to Chennai to take part in an event that the Utkal Association was hosting. He was attacked by Babushaan's wife and some thugs who appeared out of nowhere. I was assaulted as well," she claimed.

She wrote, "Babushaan's wife's behaviour is not acceptable to me."

"I haven't broken any laws. I have complete faith in the law," she declared in a message to her followers.
