New Delhi: On Thursday, Droupadi Murmu wrote history when she became the country's first tribal president. Amul captured the scene on Instagram with one of its recognisable doodles.
The 64-year-old President-elect from Odisha, Droupadi Murmu, was cordially welcomed by Amul with a doodle. The dairy company used Murmu's name as inspiration for the pun "Murmuther India." The topical's bottom text states, "Top position in butters."
The doodle showed a cartoon of Droupadi Murmu standing in front of Delhi's Rashtrapati Bhawan.
Amul captioned the picture, "Welcoming, Madam President."
