3 of family killed in tanker-car collision in Odisha's Koraput

Koraput: A day after 11 wedding guests were killed in an accident, a couple and their 5-year-old child were killed when their car collided head-on with a tanker truck on NH-26 near Pungar village under Pottangi police limits in Odisha's Koraput district on Tuesday morning.
The identities of the deceased are still unknown.
The accident occurred while the family was traveling from Baipariguda to Visakhapatnam, according to sources. The three died on the spot as a result of the collision. The accident severely damaged the car.
Pottangi police responded to the call and recovered the bodies for postmortem examination. An investigation is currently underway.
Meanwhile, the tanker and its driver were detained by locals. The mishap hampered vehicle movement along this stretch of highway.
