Serial blasts rocked Bhubaneswar, leaving two people injured.
Bhubaneswar: Last night, a series of low-intensity blasts occurred in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, resulting in two injuries and causing alarm throughout the city. Eyewitnesses reported that two blasts took place in Bapuji Nagar lane and Barhampur slum lane near Sishu Bhawan under the Capital Police station limits. Initial investigations indicate that two individuals on a motorcycle triggered the blasts by throwing bombs concealed in bags. CCTV footage captured the suspects fleeing after the explosions. Acting on a tip-off, the police arrived at the scene, reviewed the CCTV footage, and are working to identify the culprits. The motive behind the blasts remains unclear. One of the injured individuals has been admitted to the Capital Hospital in critical condition. To investigate the incident, the police have established a special squad and initiated raids to apprehend the perpetrators.
