Newborn Baby Rescued From Prasanti Express At Khurda Station
An abandoned newborn boy was rescued from the Prasanti Express at Odisha's Khurda Road railway station.

Bhubaneswar: An abandoned newborn boy was rescued from the Prasanti Express at Odisha's Khurda Road railway station.
According to sources, RPF personnel rescued the newborn from a general bogie of the train after being informed by some passengers.
Some train passengers noticed the newborn in one of the bogies and alerted the RPF.
The baby was rescued by RPF personnel, who contacted the Khurda Child Welfare Committee. Childline was later given custody of the newborn.
According to preliminary investigations, a woman delivered the baby and then abandoned him on the train.
A case has been opened in this regard, and the RPF is conducting additional investigations.
