9.12.2024, a short while ago, Ms.Debajani Kar, Junior clerk of office of Sub Registrar, Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance while demanding and taking bribe amount of Rs. 20,000/- ( Rupees Twenty Thousand) from a complt. for execution of Registered Sale Deed (RSD) of subplot. The entire bribe amount has been recovered from possession of Ms.Kar and seized.
Following the trap, simultaneous searches are going on at two locations of Ms. Kar from DA angle.
In this connection, Bhubaneswar Vigilance PS Case No. 26/2024 U/s 7 PC (Amendment) Act, 2018 has been registered against accused Jr. Clerk, Ms. Debajani Kar.
