Bhubaneswar High-Profile Fraud Case: Details About the Assets of Partners in Crime, Hansita and Anil
The Income Tax Department estimates that Hansita and Anil's assets will exceed Rs 100 crore.

The Income Tax Department, after a four-day remand of Hansita Abhilipsa and her accomplice Anil Mohanty, has estimated their assets. They are believed to possess properties and luxury cars valued at Rs 100 crore.
In a high-profile fraud case in Bhubaneswar, the special crime unit of the Commissionerate Police reported that the individuals involved own six cars from luxury brands such as Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, and Mercedes. After their remand, they have been returned to Jharpada Jail. Recently, on December 24, Hansita gifted a Mercedes car worth Rs 2.15 crore to Anil for his birthday. Anil's birthday celebration reportedly cost around Rs 50 lakh.
According to reliable sources, the Porsche they own was purchased with cash amounting to Rs 2.6 crore. The Mercedes car gifted by Hansita is currently circulating on social media. For a middle-class family, such a car represents an extravagant expense, yet Anil casually spent Rs 50 lakh just for his birthday. Reports suggest that one of Hansita’s companies is registered in the name of her former husband, Saroj Sahu. The court is scheduled to give its verdict on their bail appeal on January 13.
Anil and Hansita used to target VVIPs by showing them their photographs. During the investigation, it was discovered that Anil Mohanty owns three companies, prompting the Commissionerate Police to investigate his business dealings and financial transactions. Although Hansita's residence is in Kalahandi, she has been living in Bhubaneswar for an extended period.
The Special Unit of Police seized a Porsche car today and had previously seized a Mercedes car on Friday. It is also noteworthy that Hansita underwent weight loss surgery, reducing her weight from 107 kilograms to 70 kilograms.
