Two people died in Rayagada Bakery fire
Rayagada: A couple died of their injuries after being burned in a bakery fire in a village in Odisha's Rayagada district on Thursday night.
Dayanidhi Behera, the owner of a bakery, and his wife, Laxmi, were identified as the perpetrators. Behera and his wife died at MKCG Medical College & Hospital in Berhampur late Thursday night from their injuries.
The tragedy also resulted in the burns of two of their kids and a daughter-in-law. After their condition worsened, they were transferred to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
On Thursday evening, a fire broke out in a bakery in Sikarpai village, Kalyansinghpur block, according to sources. The fire quickly spread to a residence next to the bakery. In the house, the bakery owner and his family live.
