Bhubaneswar: Due to the existing heatwave conditions, all government and private schools in Odisha will be closed for five days beginning Tuesday, according to School and Mass Education Department sources.
Even though the schools will be closed till April 30, scheduled Matric and Plus II examinations will take place.
The Met Office has expected a 2 to 3°C increase in daytime temperatures over the next two days, and has issued a heatwave warning until April 29.
