One dead, 5 critical as ambulance hits truck in Balasore

Balasore: On Tuesday morning, a dialysis patient was murdered when an ambulance carrying him collided with a truck on National Highway 60 in Jaleswar police limits in Odisha's Balasore.
The deceased had sought treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, the ambulance transporting six people in addition to the deceased was on its way to West Bengal when the driver lost control of the wheels and collided with the truck from behind at Khusi Praza.
While the patient died on the spot, others were seriously injured. Jaleswar police came on the scene after receiving the information and took the injured to the Gopikishan Bhattar Community Health Centre (CHC).
An investigation is now underway.
