Religious sites to open in these two districts
Cuttack: Except for those within the Cuttack Municipal Corporation borders, all religious places in Kendrapada and Cuttack districts will reopen to devotees on Wednesday.
The government in Kendrapada has stated that the places of worship will be opened in strict accordance with COVID standards. Children under the age of ten, pregnant women, and the elderly (over 60) have been cautioned not to visit these locations. The warning went on to say that priests will be subjected to COVID-19 tests on a regular basis.
People visiting religious institutions must observe the COVID-19 standards, according to Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani. “On such premises, no congregation or function will be permitted. The Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) will decide whether or not to reopen temples in the city,” he added.
