Bhubaneswar: Odisha's Rajesh Mohanty and Mushtaq Beg have been named to the final Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 auction list, according to Sanjay Behera, Secretary of the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA).

According to an IPL press release, right-arm fast bowler Mushtaq Beg has been assigned SL No. 224, and right-arm leg spinner Rajesh Mohanty has been assigned SL No. 328. On December 23, the auction will commence at 2.30 p.m. in Kochi.

From an initial list of 991 players, 10 clubs selected 369 players for further consideration. Following that, the teams requested 36 additional players, bringing the total to 405.

There are 273 Indians and 132 foreign players among them. There are 119 capped players, 282 uncapped players, and four from associate nations.

A total of 87 places are now available, with up to 30 reserved for international players. The highest reserve fee is Rs 2 crore, with 19 overseas players opting to be in the top category.

There are 11 players on the auction list, with a starting price of Rs 1.5 crore. Manish Pandey and Mayank Agarwal are the two Indian cricketers on the list of 20 with a starting salary of Rs 1 crore.
