Berhampur: On Thursday, a gas tanker collided with a little vehicle they were riding in on NH-16 near Humma in Ganjam district, killing one person and gravely injuring six others. The injured, including children, were transported to a local hospital.
The tiny truck was hauling household things from a bride's house in Khallikote's Mardharajpur to Chhatrapur, according to reports. A gas tanker collided with the micro truck near Humma Market, causing the vehicle to flip.
While the driver died on the spot, the accident left six people seriously injured. A police investigation has been launched.
