Female Doctor’s Death In Keonjhar: Autopsy Report Reveals Death Caused By Poison

Keonjhar: The postmortem report of lady doctor Subhashree Kar, who died in Odisha's Keonjhar district under strange circumstances, revealed that she may have died as a result of poisoning.

According to sources, Subhashree's body was submitted for a postmortem after she was discovered dead on her bed in her room on Sunday, and the report is already available. According to the postmortem report, her death could have been caused by poisoning.

According to sources, a poison bottle was recovered and is being tested at the State Forensic Science Laboratory (SFSL) in Bhubaneswar.

Following the submission of the forensic laboratory findings, a clear picture of the lady doctor's death will emerge.

The woman's death took an unexpected turn after it was revealed that she had filed a police report accusing another doctor of sexually exploiting her.

Subhashree was a doctor at the Urban PHC at Baneikala, Joda, in the district. On December 20, last year, she filed a FIR at Joda police station with a complaint against Dr Dibyaranjan Majhi, who worked in the hospital of a private mine in Rugudi.

According to recent reports, Dr. Majhi has already resigned from the hospital where he was employed. He reportedly submitted his resignation letter last month, explaining that he was traveling to Bhubaneswar for a wedding.

Dr Kar alleged in her lawsuit that Dr Majhi had a 6-year relationship with her. Majhi allegedly had a sexual relationship with her on the promise of marriage, but later declined to marry her. The police had filed a report, and Dr Kar's statement was recorded in the JMFC court in Barbil.

While the authorities have not discovered any suicide notes in Dr Kar's home, her family members have not issued any statements.

According to PHC employees, Dr Kar had made all arrangements for their New Year's Eve celebration. "She prepared various dishes on her own. "She also joined us in singing and dancing until late at night and went to sleep in her room at 1.30 a.m.," one of the employees claimed.

When her cook arrived at the house the next morning and knocked on her chamber door, the doctor did not open it.

Finally, the police were notified. In the evening, a crew from Joda police station arrived at the residence and forced open the room door. They discovered Dr Kar on the bed. They rushed her to the Tata Steel hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The cops took the doctor's phone, drugs, and some documents from the room.
