Duplicate mosquito repellent production unit busted in Paradip

Paradip: On Saturday, Bengaluru Police raided and detained one individual at a replica mosquito repellent stick manufacturing factory in Tarinigada, Paradip, under the Jagatsinghpur police limits.
Rabindra Nayak has been recognised as the individual who was arrested.
Rabindra and his son Bikash, according to investigators, were running a mosquito repellent manufacturing operation using the brand and packaging of a Karnataka-based company. According to investigators, they also engaged in the fabrication of substandard products.
When the company learned of the fraud, it filed a complaint with a Bengaluru police station, which contacted the local police. They raided Tarinigada with the assistance of Paradip police and apprehended the suspects. Bikash, on the other hand, managed to flee.
Police also seized raw ingredients, tools, and machinery involved in the manufacture of the bogus goods on the spot.
