Sundargarh: On Monday night, an accidental fire killed a college girl in her home in Bhaludunguri hamlet, Sundargarh district, under the Bonai police limits.
Swapneswari Munda, a Plus Three student of Lahunipada College, has been confirmed as the deceased.
At around 10 p.m. on Monday, Swapneswari's garment caught fire from a kerosene light. Despite the fact that her family members were able to put out the fire, she suffered significant burn injuries.
The young woman was brought to Bonai Sub-Divisional Hospital, where she died while receiving treatment. In the meantime, authorities have launched an inquiry into the incident.
