COVID-19 Death Ex-Gratia Claim Deadline Extended To May 28 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The government of Odisha has extended the deadline for filing ex-gratia claims for COVID-19 deaths to May 28, 2022.

The disaster management fund is providing Rs 50,000 in ex-gratia to the next of kin of COVID-19 patients who died on or before March 20, 2022.

Those who have not yet received the ex-gratia can apply in person to the Collectors concerned, together with the required documentation, or apply online by May 28 at https://caps.odisha.gov.in.

Patients' relatives who died of COVID-19 after March 20, 2022 can apply to the Collector concerned in person or online within 90 days of death at https://caps.odisha.gov.in.

Those who miss the deadline to apply for ex-gratia can do so through the Grievance Redressal Committees established in each district. Ex-gratia will be paid out within 30 days of your application.
