Babushaan Moves Orissa High Court Seeking Anticipatory Bail

Cuttack: In connection with the charge brought by his wife Trupti Satpathy at a police station in Bhubaneswar, Hollywood actor Babushaan has applied for anticipatory bail before the Orissa High Court in Orissa.
Trupti accused actress Prakruti and her husband Babushaan in a police report she filed at the Kharvel Nagar police station. In accordance with IPC Sections 498(A) and 506, the police have filed a complaint.
His attorney filed the anticipatory bail before the High Court on Wednesday after Babushaan anticipated being arrested as a result of his wife's complaint.
In a video that went viral on Saturday, Trupti was seen in Bhubaneswar physically abusing both her husband and Prakruti in full view of the public while also blaming Prakruti of causing problems in her marriage.
Following this, Krushnapriya Mishra, the mother of Prakruti, reported the incident to the police at Kharvel Nagar, and Trupti, together with her mother-in-law and the actress Aparajita Mohanty, filed a FIR.
On the basis of the two complaints, the police took down seven people's statements on Sunday. Babushaan has also received a summons to appear for questioning.
On Wednesday, Babushaan, who had been to Chennai to promote his movie, arrived back in Bhubaneswar.
