Archana Nag Case: Property Dealer Appears Before ED For Grilling

Bhubaneswar: Property dealer Prabhat Ranjan Pati on Friday appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) here in connection with the money laundering case against lady blackmailer Archana Nag.
The ED summoned the businessman in connection with sale of a land to Archana and her business associate Khageswar Patra.
Sources said that Archana and Khageswar had purchased a land from Pati.
Earlier in the morning, film producer Pramod Swain had appeared before the ED again for interrogation in money laundering case against Archana Nag.
So far, the ED has questioned Odia film producers Akshaya Parija and Pramod Swain, BJD MLA Sudhir Kumar Samal's brother Gangadhar Samal, businessman Amiyakant Das, Archana's colleague Shradhanjali Behera, her business partner Khageswar Patra, and her driver Chandan.
Archana Nag, who allegedly employed high-profile call girls to suit wealthy clientele, allegedly honey-trapped more than 20 lawmakers from the ruling BJD and opposition BJP, as well as notable businesspeople, film producers, and real-estate tycoons.
Archana, her husband Jagabandhu Chand, and their business partner Khageswar Patra have all been detained in this case. The ED intends to place the pair on remand.
