AcF Death: DFO viral video brings a new twist

Paralakhemundi: While the Crime Branch (CB) questioned Gurandi police station OIC Mamata Panda for three hours on Friday, a viral video showing DFO Sangram Keshari Behera sitting with two physicians has given the death of Paralakhemundi ACF Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra a fresh twist.
Despite the fact that the video's date and time are unknown, doubts have been raised concerning his appearance at the hospital with a magistrate and the CMDO as a doctor is seen writing something on a register.
Dr. Kishore Chandra Behera, who treated the ACF at the district headquarters hospital and is shown in the video, had previously denied any knowledge of the DFO, according to media reports.
Dr Pramod Kumar Panda, Behera, and Dr Abhilash Panda, District Medical Officers (DMOs), were interrogated by Crime Branch on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, DSP Gyana Ranjan Mishra of the Crime Branch stated that the inquiry is proceeding as planned. “Today, we met with the local IIC, who was previously in charge of the investigation. “We also questioned Gurandi OIC about the events of July 12,” he said.
The OIC's participation was called into question as the late ACF's father, Abhiram Mohapatra, accused her of exploiting her power to keep the probe quiet. He further accused her of holding the ambulance transporting Soumya, who was gravely ill, for an hour at the request of his daughter-in-law Bidyabharati Panda. “The OIC halted the ambulance for an hour in the middle of its journey. “She wanted my baby to die before he could go to the hospital,” he claimed.
The DSP, on the other hand, claimed that IOC had gone to the scene on the orders of the SDO since ACF's wife Bidyabharati needed to go shopping before accompanying her husband in the ambulance to Cuttack. He explained, "She is a distant relative of Bidyabharati and went to the hospital on humanitarian grounds."
“Up to this point, the statements and examination have been satisfactory. “As and when necessary, we will question others,” he added.
