"Rahul Gandhi's Speech, Nirmala Sitharaman's Viral Reaction, and BJP Pushback."
Rahul Gandhi displayed a picture of the 'Halwa' ceremony and pointed out that out of the 20 officers who worked on preparing the country's budget, only one was from a minority community and one was from the Other Backward Classes (OBC).
Nirmala Sitharaman's facepalm moment in the Lok Sabha has gained attention on the internet. This happened when Rahul Gandhi mentioned the traditional pre-Budget 'Halwa' ceremony and the lack of diversity in its preparation. He pointed out the absence of Dalits, Other Backward Classes, and Adivasis in the ceremony.
The BJP responded to the criticism by accusing the Congress of neglecting Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and OBCs and obstructing reservation for these communities. They also accused the Congress of being "anti-Hindu".
Rahul Gandhi displayed a picture of the 'Halwa' ceremony and pointed out that out of the 20 officers involved in preparing the budget, only one belonged to a minority community and one belonged to the Other Backward Classes (OBC). He emphasized that 73% of the country's population is not represented in the budget.
In response to Gandhi's statements, the Finance Minister expressed disapproval by placing her hands over her face and nodding. Gandhi then criticized her for reacting in such a manner.
On the other hand, the BJP shared pictures of the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation's board members, questioning which of them belonged to OBC, SC, and ST categories. They also alleged that the Congress has been "anti-SC/ST and OBC" since Independence.
Rahul Gandhi drew parallels from the Mahabharata and criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party over the Budget, stating that there's an atmosphere of fear in the country and that the country is now trapped in a "Chakravyuh of lotus," referring to the BJP's symbol.
