Subhrakant Panda, First Industrialist from Odisha to Head FICCI

Bhubaneswar: The first industrialist from Odisha to serve as president of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is Subhrakant Panda, managing director of Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA).
Panda was named the apex chamber's next president on Wednesday. At the conclusion of the 95th AGM, which will be place on December 16–17, he will succeed Sanjiv Mehta as the head of the chamber, according to a statement from the FICCI.
Panda has been involved with FICCI for 20 years and served as the organization's first chairman for the state of Odisha. He presently serves as FICCI's senior vice president. "It is a joy to have the chance to lead this outstanding institution at this time. I would work hard to support @ficci india and, through its numerous interactions, add to the success of the Indian economy, he tweeted.
