NDA Presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu to arrive in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Droupadi Murmu, a former governor of Jharkhand and candidate for the NDA presidential nomination, will be welcomed to Odisha on Friday, July 8.
Droupadi Murmu would receive protection, including an escort pilot and a PSO, in accordance with the magnitude and threat perception, according to a notification from the Deputy Secretary, Home (Protocol) Department, Odisha government.
During the State Guest's visit to Bhubaneswar, the manager of the State Guest House will organise for her arrival, lodging and boarding, transportation, and farewell.
After travelling to Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, and Assam, Droupadi will return to her home state to solicit support from MPs and MLAs of all parties.
This week, opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha will also travel to Odisha.
On July 18, India's 16th president will be chosen. On July 21, if necessary, votes will be counted.
