Bargarh: Odisha has busted yet another IPL betting ring. Five people were arrested after police in Bargarh disrupted an inter-state racket.
Vicky Mittal, the main suspect, was arrested together with Prakash Agrawal, Arjun Senapati, Bimalkant Nag, and Dilip Dash.
According to Bargarh SP Parmar Smit Parshottamdas, police visited various sites during the IPL Qualifier 2 match after receiving a tip. Following that, a series of searches were carried out, yielding Rs 6.14 lakh in cash, two computers, an auto call receiver, one LED TV, mobile phones, and other electronic devices from their hands.
The SP has invited such anti-social individuals to come forward and surrender since they are suspected of being involved in an interstate betting scheme. At the Town Police Station, a case has been filed.
