Khordha district with 500 fresh infections in the last 24 hours has the maximum cases among all districts followed by Jajpur (391), Balasore (296), Cuttack (230), Mayurbhanj (187), Angul (183), Bhadrak (179), Puri (141) and Jagatsinghpur (129).
Districts which recorded below 100 cases are Nayagarh (97), Keonjhar (89), Nabarangpur (83), Kendrapara (73), Bargarh (66), Koraput (63), Boudh (59), Gajapati (58), Kandhamal (55), Kalahandi (54), Sundargarh (48), Sambalpur (38), Ganjam (36), Nuapada (28), Sonepur (25), Deogarh (23), Bolangir (18) and Jharsuguda (9).
The active cases in the State now stood at 51,104 while 8,04,981 patients have been cured or recovered.
The State has so far tested a total of 1, 27, 20,932 samples including 68,535 on Monday.
