Climate Change & COVID Management To Be Included In Odisha's School Curriculum

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has included lessons on climate change and the COVID pandemic in the curriculum to raise awareness among children.
Speaking to the media, Minister of School and Mass Education Samir Dash indicated that beginning with the 2022–23 school year, both COVID management and climate change will be covered in the curriculum. According to him, these challenges are significant given their current setting.
Additionally, by adopting voluntary hygiene and health habits in daily life, the COVID pandemic, which has reached global proportions, can be contained. According to the minister, these behaviours should be promoted among students beginning in early childhood to prevent them from contracting the illness.
